Refund Policy
Effective Date: June 20th, 2025
At Q the DJ YYC, we value your time, trust, and investment. Our refund policy is designed to be fair and transparent while also protecting the time and resources reserved for your event.
1. Deposits
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. This deposit covers time spent planning, reserving your event date, and turning down other potential bookings.

All deposits are non-refundable.

Your date is not confirmed until the deposit has been received and acknowledged.
2. Balance Payments
Final payments are due no later than 7 days before the event, unless otherwise stated in your contract. If your event is canceled after full payment has been made:

50% refund may be issued if canceled more than 14 days before the event date.

No refund will be issued if canceled within 14 days of the event, as the time has been fully reserved and preparation has begun.
3. Rescheduling
If you need to reschedule your event:

We will do our best to accommodate your new date.

The original deposit will be applied to the rescheduled event if the new date is available.

If the new date is not available or no new date is provided within 30 days, the deposit will be forfeited.
4. Consultation No-Shows
Initial consultations are complimentary. However:

If you no-show without 24 hours’ notice, a $25 rebooking fee will be required to schedule another session.

This fee is non-refundable.
5. Force Majeure / Emergencies
In the unlikely event that Q the DJ must cancel due to personal emergency, illness, or events beyond our control (e.g., severe weather, venue issues, power outages):

You will receive a full refund, including your deposit.

We will make every effort to refer or connect you with another trusted DJ in our network.
6. Refund Process
All approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days. For questions or to request a refund, please contact:
